Hello, I’m Martha.
I teach voice lessons (ages 12 and up, all levels) and piano lessons for children and adult beginners (ages 4 and up).
I've taught for over 12 years inside individual lessons, group classes, daycares, and schools. I currently teach at the Guthrie Theater and in my private studio.
I nurture a lifelong love and connection to music while equipping students with the best tools. I also teach songwriting (even for kids!), how to read chord sheets, how to self-accompany, and more.
My clients build confidence so music extends into their lives and relationships with friends, families and communities. Making music is more than skill-building, it’s deep way to build deeper self-appreciation, find courage to take your dreams seriously, and a stronger resolve to try new things with love and curiosity.
